Dolphin Encounter
Duration: 2 Hours
Details: Participate in a lasting experience at the Dolphin Swim programme in the natural lagoon at Prospect Reef Resort. Guests travel through Road Town in a tour bus from the cruise pier to the Dolphin Lagoon at Prospect Reef. Swimmers will be asked to sign in before proceeding to briefing room, where an informative 20 minute talk and introduction to the Dolphins and procedures to be followed during the swim is given. Participants will then have an opportunity to change into swim-wear and have their photos taken with a colourful parrot before joining the Dolphin Trainers at the pool side where life vests are fitted.
ENCOUNTER: Participants enter the water and stand on the submerged platform (4ft depth) while the dolphins interact at the command of the trainers. Typically Kiss, "pec shake", hand rub, sing interaction takes place. An in-house photographer will have photographs and videos of participants in the water for sale at the end of the programme.
